The TSN (or Table Shuffleboard Network) was designed and created to serve the worldwide table shuffleboard community. Although the earliest versions of the game date back to the fifteenth century when it was called Shoffe-grote, table shuffleboard has struggled to become as popular as billiards or bowling. In recent years there has been a renewed interest in the game. Tournament attendance is way up, and the number of new great players is growing more rapidly than ever.
In the US and Canada, professional table shuffleboard is managed by the TSA (Table Shuffleboard Association). The rating system that is used for tournaments throughout Northern America is the Bowers Rating System.
Version 1.0 of the TSN App allows you to easily search and browse through the Bowers Rating Database. The data comes fresh off the TSN server, so you’re always looking at up to the minute information.
Coming versions of the TSN App will allow you to add your own players, manage tournaments and league play, and a host of other features, including support for iPads. Although this first release isn’t rich on features, it makes up for it in its simplicity, functionality, and cost of only 99 cents. This app is sure to see price increases with future upgrades. Buy now and you own it for life.
